Local Indigenous artist designs training shirt

The Committee of the Bulls is ecstatic to release images of this years training shirt designed by local indigenous artist Alison Simpson.

Every player from U11s to A Grade will receive a training shirt as part of their rego. Shirts will also be available to order for non players who would like one.

The design is inspired by the realization that we train and play on the same land, under the same sun and under the same protective embrace of the local mountain ranges that local Indigenous people from the Yuin Nation have for tens of thousands of years. Having this artwork on our training shirts is a daily reminder of that shared connection; a mark of respect for Elders that have past; an offering of a hand of friendship for present Elders and a promise to those Elders that are emerging from within our club and community.

We would like to thank Alison Simpson for producing such a beautiful piece of artwork; that has such incredible meaning for our players.

Players can register at PlayHQ now and receive their shirt once training starts.

Non players who would like to purchase a shirt will be able to order one via the Club Facebook Shop, with delivery once the shirts arrive (hopefully in early October)
